Biography
In 1976, he has completed SSC exam & 1978 in HSC exam from Dhaka board. In 1985, he has completed MBBS under Chittagong University. He has also completed DIH in 1992 from Dhaka University. He is now working as Deputy Director of National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was In service trance of Chittagong Medical College, Chittagong in 1985-1986. He was appointed as an Assistant Surgeon (Medical Officer) of Upazilla health complex, Baniachong, Hobigonj in 1986-1989. He was Medical Officer of Gowaingat Upazilla Heath Complex, Sylhet in 1989-1991. He was also consultant Surgery of 1991-1997 from Upazila Health Complex, Fenchugonj, Sylhet. He was Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of Upazila Health Complex, Sreemangal, Mowlavibazar in 1997-2011. He was Upazila Health & Family Planning Officer (UHFPO), Fencegonj, Sylhet in 2011-2015. He was appointed as Assistant Director in MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, Sylhet from 2015 to 2015. He was Civil Surgeon of Sylhet district in 2015 to 2017.

Professional background
He/she is a Consultant in Orthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital. She graduated BDS with Honours in 2002, from Guy’s, Kings & St. Thomas Dental Institute (Kings College London) and completed the MFDS RCS Eng. in 2004 and MFGDP(UK) in 2007. She undertook a House Officer Post at Guys’ Hospital and West Kent Community Dental Service, gaining experience in all aspects of dentistry including the management of anxious children, as well as working in General Dental Practice in Central London and Kent. Thereafter, she joined the University College London / Eastman Dental Hospital to undertake on her specialist training and obtained her Masters in Orthodontics and Membership in Orthodontics. She subsequently undertook a further two years training at the Eastman Dental Hospital, UCLH and Kingston Hospital, Surrey treating complex multi-disciplinary cases.
He/she is involved in treatment, management, teaching and research at the Eastman Dental Hospital.
